Eco-friendly Waterborne Manufacturing Technology for Aerospace Materials: Silicon Ladder Polymer (SLP)
We possess mass-production manufacturing technology for eco-friendly POSS (Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane) resin,
developed through hybrid technology combining Silicon Ladder Polymer (SLP) and Water-based Urethane.
Technology Overview
Commercialized as a multi-purpose heat-resistant coating, considering pigment dispersibility and low-temperature drying characteristics.
CERAZAN® products are regarded as a coating material that can replace fluoropolymer paints in response to climate change and carbon neutrality.
They are available in amine-free formulations and flame-retardant-additive-free options for waterborne non-combustible / quasi-non-combustible / flame-retardant / flame-resistant coatings.
After synthesizing waterborne polysiloxane, inorganic silica sol (SiO₂) is introduced.
Low-temperature polymerization forms CERAZAN® primary inorganic heat-resistant resin (Silicon Ladder Polymer).
Next, a waterborne prepolymer (urethane) is additionally introduced and low-temperature polymerization is performed again,
finally completing CERAZAN® secondary organic–inorganic hybrid silicone resin (POSS Resin).

- Heat resistance / non-combustibility: up to 250℃ / quasi-non-combustible, flame-retardant, flame-resistant
- Cold resistance: -60℃
- Chemical resistance: 100+ MEK rubs
- Acid resistance: 75% strong acids (H₂SO₄, HCl, HNO₃) * no change after 24+ hrs
- Surface hardness: 2–5H
- Electrical: water absorption ≤ 0.03%
- Water and oil repellency: long-lasting
- Gas permeability: very low
- Light transmittance: 91%+
